Dubravka Filipovski has warned Serbia’s citizens not to succumb to “dirty propaganda” in the election race. The New Serbia (NS) deputy leader said that propaganda was being led regarding self-isolation, and she expected the citizens to send a clear message on May 11 to the whole world that Kosovo was a part of Serbia. New Serbia warns of “dirty propaganda” She said that the citizens would clearly state that Kosovo was Serbia and that Serbia could become a part of the European Union only with Kosovo as a part of its territory, which would open new paths for discussions between an intact Serbia and the EU. “Palestine was recognized by 125 countries, but never by Israel, and that country received the respect and recognition of the whole world for the fight it led for its territory and statehood. Also, Greece never recognized the independence of Cyprus, and after that it became economically stronger and a member of the EU,” Filipovski pointed out. The NS deputy leader added that Serbia must respect itself, its sovereignty and territorial integrity in order for the EU to respect it. Touching on the incidents in northern Kosovska Mitrovica yesterday, she expressed her sadness over the death of the Ukrainian UNMIK officer who died as a result of injuries sustained in the clashes, and called on the international community to help stop the violence and an escalation of the violence.
