The incident took place in the town center where Zukorlic’s supporters were laying the foundation stone for a new madrassa. The Islamic Community of Serbia, the rival organization led by reis-ul-ulema Adem Zilkic claims that the land where the school is to be built is theirs, that the foundation stone has already been laid, and that EUR 30,000 has already been invested in the madrassa.
