The visits of Serbian ministers to Kosovo continues with Finance Minister Mirko Cvetkovic expected in Kosovska Mitrovica. Cvetkovic and several associates from his ministry will visit the taxation administration’s branch in the divided town in the north of the province. Finance minister in north Kosovo Education Minister Zoran Loncar stated during yesterday’s visit to Ranilug, also in Kosovo, that the ministry will propose a project for offering scholarships for Serbian language students in Kosovo. Loncar said that the ministry is also looking to secure free books for Kosovo students. He said that such “a decision by the government would be of great importance to the students and their parents as well.” “Whoever decides to attend Serbian language schools according to our teaching plans and programs, will not only receive a diploma from the Republic of Serbia, but will be able to find a job in any country that recognizes Serbia and have the ability to study on scholarship and with free books,” Loncar said.
