The Slovenian police have arrested eight businessmen and are continuing probes into corporate crime. The group began its work at the end of last year, when it was confirmed that several individuals from different corporations were suspected of corruption and other business-related crimes. The inquiry will continue, focusing on the homes and company offices of the eight suspects. After additional investigations are complete, the Slovenian police will call a press conference, though Slovenian media understands from unofficial sources that the police are looking into the construction companies SCT, Vegrad and Primorje.
