Marko Jaksic says the defense of Kosovo needs to be urgently established, and called on parliament for “signposts”. The Assembly of Serb Municipalities and Enclaves will convene today in Kosovska Mitrovica to formulate a message that the Serbs in northern Kosovo will not break away from their brothers in the southern enclaves, said Assembly President Marko Jaksic. "Defense of Kosovo needs to be organized" “What really disturbs and astonishes us here is that the Serbian parliamentary session to define signposts for the state’s future actions has been put off for so long, at a time when the country’s integrity is threatened, when Serbia is in danger of having Kosovo taken from her,” said Jaksic. The Assembly president said that his organization would try to come to a united position on the arrival of the EU mission to Kosovo. “Bearing in mind that that mission is coming to steal our homeland, our cradle, it’s exceptionally important that parliament convenes as soon as possible to work out how to defend the Serbian state,” he stressed. The Assembly president said that his organization would try to come to a united position on the arrival of the EU mission to Kosovo.
