Tomislav Nikolic’s victory in the first round of presidential elections is an internal matter, says Pristina. The media and officials in the Kosovo capital, says Radio Free Europe, are sure that the outcome of the Serbian elections will not affect a declaration of independence. Pristina: Serbian elections change nothing “We don’t see any essential difference in the positions of the remaining two candidates. Indeed, [Democratic Party candidate] Boris Tadic’s rhetoric during the campaign was more radical,” said Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu’s spokesman Xhavit Beqiri. However, political analyst Milazim Krasniqi believes that the biggest question mark for Serbia’s future president will be how to deal with the public’s reaction to a Kosovo declaration of independence.
