Russia will continue to support Serbia in her efforts to retain her territorial integrity. Russian ambassador to the UN Vitaliy Churkin made the comments last night after meeting with President Boris Tadic. Russian UN ambassador pledges continued support for Serbia Churkin told Russian reporters that the Russia and Serbia agreed both on “the legal and political aspects of the Kosovo situation.” The meeting with Tadic was a traditional meeting with representatives of the Serbian leadership who come to New York for UN Security Council sessions dedicated to Kosovo, he explained, reports the Itar-Tas agency. “Belgrade intends to continue to fight for her territorial integrity, and Russia will continue to support her in the UN Security Council,” said Churkin.
