5 injured in Kosovo blast
Four social affairs advisers and one driver from Kosovo's Labor Ministry have been injured in an explosion in Suva Reka.

Four social affairs advisers and one driver from Kosovo's Labor Ministry have been injured in an explosion in Suva Reka. According to a police statement, the explosion happened at 1.30 p.m. yesterday in the center of the town while the Ministry vehicle was in motion. 5 injured in Kosovo blast All five of the injured were inside the car at the time of the blast. All the injured were ethnic Albanians, said Kosovo Police Service spokesman Veton Elshani. A KFOR explosives unit carried out an initial investigation and established that a grenade had been placed under the car. The police announced that the driver and three of the advisers, 2 women and one man, had been seriously injured, while the other victim received minor injuries. Police, for now, do not know the motive of the attack. To recap, last week, Serb representative Nenad Rasic was selected to head the Labor and Social Affairs Ministry in Prime Minister Hasim Thaci’s new government.
