War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic told Tanjug he hopes Serbia will soon conclude its Hague cooperation. "The wish to end the Hague story is genuine and I believe that we will maintain contact with the Tribunal until it closes in 2010," said Vukcevic, who is also the coordinator of a government action team for location and arresting Hague indictees still at large. Prosecutor hopes for end of "Hague story" Vukcevic said that there is considerably more information following the announcement of a million-euro reward for any information on war crimes suspects. Based on this, the prosecutor evaluated that our citizens are "highly conscious about war crimes and the need to put an end to the subject once and for all". On October 12, the Council for National Security announced that it was offering a reward for information on fugitives Mladic, Radovan Karadzic, Stojan Zupljanin and Goran Hadzic. Vukcevic also said that the work on locating fugitive indictees is complex and that all state organs, interior and defense ministries, as well intelligence services are taking part. The prosecutor evaluated that Serbia is the world's leading country in processing war crimes, and that "there is no important world institution that does not recognize the results of our team work".
