10 people were arrested and 10 kilos of heroin seized on the administrative line with Kosovo at Rudnica last night. According to Beta, the detainees are members of Novi Pazar's biggest gang of drug dealers. 10 kilos of heroin seized at Kosovo boundary The group were attempting to smuggle the drugs from Kosovo into Serbia proper. Beta understands that 10kg of pure heroin was seized during the operation carried out by police forces from Kraljevo and Novi Pazar, with the help of the Belgrade criminal police department officers. According to information that was neither corroborated nor denied by the police with further investigations under way, five people have thus far been detained who attempted to escape towards Montenegro, while the hunt for the remaining members of the group is ongoing.
