One of a group of Cubans who caused a political spat between Hungary and Cuba has been involved in a brawl. The fight saw three Hungarians suffer knife wounds, Hungarian police told MTI news agency on Sunday. Controversial Cuban immigrant in Hungary stabbing Cuba in August branded Hungary a lackey of the US for granting political asylum to 28 Cubans who were being held at the US Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, after trying to escape from the communist island. The Cubans arrived in Hungary in early October, and have been given refugee status. The brawl broke out in the early hours of Sunday in a bar near the refugee camp in Bicske, central Hungary. Police said that all of the parties involved were in a state of extreme inebriation and that they were trying to work out exactly what had happened. The three injured are being treated in hospital.
