Montenegrin Foreign Minister Milan Rocen discussed Kosovo and combating corruption in the Balkans in Berlin Tuesday. Rocen was on an official visit to Germany for talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Montenegrin FM talks Kosovo in Berlin Steinmeier stressed Germany's hope that a solution could be found to the status of Kosovo by December, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said. A Troika comprising the United States, the European Union and Russia is due to assess progress on December 10. The two foreign ministers also discussed extending cooperation between Germany and Montenegro. The German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said continuing reforms and combating corruption were also discussed, along with the signing next week of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Podgorica and Brussels.
