Aleksandar Popovic (DSS) says Russian companies are "very interested in investing in Serbia’s energy sector." The energy and mining minister said on Saturday that the largest Russian energy companies' representatives, whom he met during his recent visit to Russia, had "shown resolve to take part in all market competitions in Serbia in the energy sector.” Russians eye Serbia’s energy sector He added that during his stay in Moscow he met with representatives of Lukoil, Gazprom, Interrap and Basic Element. In his words, Gazprom Neft is also interested in the privatization of Serbian Oil Industry (NIS). The Serbian delegation headed by Deputy Minister Bozidar Djelic ended a three-day visit to Russia on Friday.
