UNMIK Chief Joachim Rucker canceled a meeting with Kosovo politicians to set the date for Kosovo’s elections. The meeting regarding the coming Kosovo's municipal and parliamentary elections was scheduled for today. However, the office of Kosovo president Fatmir Sejdiu released a stetement on Wednesday that reads as folows: Decision on Kosovo elections postponed “By request of Joachim Rucker… the meeting will be postponed until Kosovo’s Unity Team returns from Vienna." The Pristina negotiating team of five will travel later today to the Austrian capital, where a meeting with the Contact Group mediating Troika is due to take place on August 30.
