Embassy of Brazil catches fire
“At 9:20 a.m. we were informed that smoke was detected in the premises of the Brazilian Embassy. Three vehicles and fourteen firefighters arrived at the site in four minutes,” a firefighter told B92.“The short circuit occurred in a hot-water heater set in the basement. We successfully extinguished the fire,” he added.
B92 has learned that the heater has been a recent purchase of the Embassy seated in the building in Hilandarska Street whose installations were placed fifteen years ago and have not been changed since.
