EC chief meets with culture minister

He said that the EC will do everything it can to help complete the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the EU and Serbia as soon as possible, according to the Culture Ministry.

Brajović said that the Serbian Government strongly supports European integrations, and that his ministry will focus on preparing all necessary legislation in order to reach European standards and introduce Serbia into EU cultural programs.

It was also stressed that Serbia has prepared a ratification of the Convention for Protecting and Developing the Variety of Cultural statements, which regulate the international sharing of cultural contents, or products of the cultural industry.

The implementation of the "Culture 2007" program was also discussed.

The program will allow organizations and individuals from Serbia to receive financial aid for projects from the EU.
