Jugoremedija workers stage protest

Head of the independent trade union, Vladimir Pecikoza, says that the ruling has not yet been confirmed because the delivery receipt proving that the ruling had been served to the until recently Jugoremedija’s majority owner has disappeared.

Pecikoza adds that Jugoremedija workers plan to stay in front of the Court building until the effective ruling to terminate the agreement with the company Jaka 80 is passed.

The president of the Association of small shareholders Zdravko Deurić said that the eight-day deadline for appeals has passed, within which Jaka 80 and its owner Jovica Stefanović had not submitted an appeal. Therefore there was no reason not to implement the ruling, according to Deurić.

Serbian Business Registers Agency entered the total cash equity of Jugoremedija into the Registry of business entities, thus rescinding the recapitalization of the company carried out by Jaka 80.

Acting on the ruling, the Central Registry and Securities Commission are due to initial the proceedings for the change of Jugoremedija’s ownership structure.
