Ahtisaari’s spokesperson Hua Jiang told B92 that Ahtisaari will be meeting with Contact Group officials once again today.

“They will once again talk about the process of the discussions and in which direction they are progressing. The Special Envoy will once again state his opinions and plans. What he will be proposing is discussions on the highest level so that the process could be brought to an end. However, this meeting scheduled for tomorrow will not be completely linked to the events that will take place in the coming period of time.” Jiang said.

She added that a meeting of Serbian and Albanian officials on the highest level will be organised at the end of July, but did not have a specific date for the occasion. She said that the participators for this meeting have not yet been determined.

“We never announced directly that the meeting would be between just the two prime ministers Ko š tunica and Ceku. We wish to organise a meeting on the highest level which will include both presidents and prime ministers, and whoever else Belgrade and Priština decided to represent them at the highest level.” Jiang said.
