Central bank chief expects "absolute" price stability
She added that at the time when she became the governor the inflation amounted to 12.2 percent, while it now stands at 1.9 percent."For some, inflation is low because it indicates poor demand, but in my opinion, it indicates something else - stability, predictability. It means that everyone who works, does business and makes plans know what to expect in the next one or two years, or even longer. This reflects the credibility of monetary policy," Tabakovic pointed out.
