PM, U.S. official discuss energy diversification

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Monday received U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Energy Resources Mary Warlick.

PM, U.S. official discuss energy diversification

Vucic and Warlick "also conferred on other issues of joint interest in the field of energy," the Serbian government's press office said in a statement.

Vucic "informed Warlick about the results of the economic measures implemented by the Serbian government with an eye to creating a business environment conducive to attracting investors, U.S. companies included."

Warlick said that Serbia's economic results are encouraging, as well as its commitment to the EU integration process.

She "highlighted the importance of Prime Minister Vucic's commitment to regional cooperation and dialogue with Pristina."

Warlick, former ambassador to Serbia, said that Vucic's recent official visit to Washington "provided a great impetus to the two countries' political and economic relations."
