GTC starts works to build commercial complex in Belgrade

The complex will comprise three office buildings with a total gross area of 27,000 square meters, and will be built in three stages.

The first stage, expected to be completed in mid-2015, will provide for 10,000 square meters of new office space, 60 percent of which has already been leased before the construction began, it was said at the ceremony marking the start of the construction works.

The mayor said that the project was very important to Belgrade and Serbia as it showed that investors wanted to come to Serbia.

Mali said that Belgrade would help all those who want to invest by ensuring that all necessary permits were issued in a fast and efficient manner.

Kurzmann said that the works would be performed in compliance with the highest technical and green building standards.

He said that we should expect the first complex to open in a year from now.

GTC has a positive experience when it comes to doing business in Serbia and many other investors plan to expand their business and open new offices in Serbia’s capital, said Kurzmann.

From 2003 to the present, GTC Serbia has built more than 100,000 square meters of office and residential space. All the buildings are located in the commercial zone of Novi Beograd and leading international and local companies have their offices in them.
