BELGRADE The average net salary in Serbia totaled RSD 41,689 (EUR 375) in March, a nominal and actual drop of 3.9 percent compared to the month before. Salaries in the north of the country are now 30 percent higher than in the south, the Marketing Research Institute (IZIT) said in its latest bulletin. At an annual level, the average salary in March this year is up 2.8 percent nominally but down 7.6 percent in real terms, due to high inflation in the observation period.
