Currency plummets by 0.7 percent, exchange rate 118.3

BELGRADE The dinar Serbian dinar (RSD) will lose 0.7 percent of its value - or RSD 0.77 - against the euro (EUR) on Thursday, the central bank (NBS) announced. The exchange rate will reach RSD 118.2375 for one euro. The indicative exchange rate against the dollar was RSD 96.0749 for USD 1 on Wednesday, or 0.6 percent lower than the previous value.

The Serbian currency is down 4.6 percent against the U.S. dollar compared to a month ago, and 25.4 percent compared to one year ago.

The dinar has dropped by 15.8 percent against the dollar this year.
