IMF Executive Director Age Bakker is currently on a visit to Pristina, just days after Kosovo became a fully-fledged member of the organization. The Kosovo assembly is due to adopt a law on membership of the IMF at its session today. IMF chief in Pristina While in the provincial capital, Bakker is due to meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and other government officials. 96 IMF members voted in favor of Kosovo’s membership, 10 against, while 38 abstained.
