A European Commission delegation is on its way to Belgrade to discuss a financial aid package worth EUR 100mn with government representatives. The assistance, destined for the state budget, is envisaged as an EU Instrument for Pre-Accession, whose total value in 2009 is EUR 182.5mn. EC in Belgrade to discuss EUR 100mn aid The funds from Brussels are non-returnable, and the meeting between government and EC representatives is expected to center on the conditions for receiving the assistance and the way in which it would be spent. National Bank Governor Radovan Jelasic, Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, Finance Ministry State Secretary Vuk Djokovic and State Auditing Institution Chairman Radoslav Sretenovic will represent Serbia at the talks.
