Daily Politika writes that current Gazpromneft adviser Dmitry Malishev could be the next CEO of the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS). According to the daily, his deputy could be Oleg Golubovic, who is known for his work with General Momcilo Perisic in the Movement for a Democratic Serbia. Gazpromneft adviser to be NIS CEO? NIS says that it is too early to talk about the new management that will take over in the new joint Russian-Serbian company, adding that a more pressing question is whether the Serbian and Russian sides will be able to meet all their commitments within 130 days of the signing of the agreement to sell a 51 percent stake in the company to Gazprom. The EUR 400mn the Russians are obliged to pay for NIS must be paid within that time frame, while all assets must also be transferred from the Republic Property Directorate to NIS by then, something that promises to be a laborious process, Politika writes.
