Baloise will launch operations in Serbia, the Swiss insurer said this week. The company will be offering life and non-life insurance products after already setting up shop in neighboring Croatia. Swiss Baloise starts Serbia operations Newly founded Zivotno Osiguranje Basler a.d.o and Nezivotno Osiguranje Basler a.d.o opened shop in Belgrade on Sept 14, Baloise said in a statement. "The Serbian insurance market has impressive growth potential, especially in personal lines," Baloise said. Mid-sized insurer Baloise said earlier this week it had established a Liechtenstein unit offering wealthy customers tax-favorable products.

Newly founded Životno Osiguranje Basler a.d.o and Neživotno Osiguranje Basler a.d.o opened shop in Belgrade on Sept 14, Baloise said in a statement.

"The Serbian insurance market has impressive growth potential, especially in personal lines," Baloise said.

Mid-sized insurer Baloise said earlier this week it had established a Liechtenstein unit offering wealthy customers tax-favorable products.
