Russian company interested in Serbia’s Telekom

BELGRADE -- Russian company Sistema JSFC could take part in a tender for the privatization of Serbia's state-owned telecommunications company Telekom, Beta has reported.
When asked whether his company would take part in a possible tender for the sale of Telekom, Sistema JSFC Director Vladimir Evtushenkov said the company was considering it and that a decision would be made soon.
According to the company’s website, Sistema JSFC was founded in 1993 and it is today one of Russia's top 10 companies by revenues and is one of the largest publicly-traded diversified holding company in the world. Sistema was ranked number 315 in the Fortune Global 500 list.
In 2011, the company had revenues worth USD 33bn and net profit worth USD 218mn.
