Price of electricity up 15.1 pct
As of today, the price of electricity in Serbia will increase by 15.1 percent on average, to RSD 6.83 (6.6 eurocents) per kWh, VAT included, Beta reports.

As of today, the price of electricity in Serbia will increase by 15.1 percent on average, to RSD 6.83 (6.6 eurocents) per kWh, VAT included, Beta reports. Representatives of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) said that one kilowatt-hour for households, without discounts, will cost RSD 6.54, whereas for the industry the price will be 5.91. Price of electricity up 15.1 pct EPS has introduced 11.89 percent discount on the price of electricity for households that monthly consume up to 350 kWh and have no debts. According to the company's estimates, about a half or 1.5 million of all Serbian households will exercise this right aimed at boosting rational electricity consumption. The socially endangered citizens who consume up to 350 kWh of electricity per month, if they submit evidence of their social status, will be entitled to an additional 35 percent discount.
