As President of the Fiat Automobiles Serbia Giovanni de Filippis announced, initially a total of 20 cars would be assembled in the factory each day, and added that 500 workers had been engaged to ensure that.

"The number of the cars that will leave the factory premises at the end of April is supposed to be five times the number," he said, pointing out that in the initial stage, the envisaged monthly output should reach 2,000 cars.

"In the next stages, the number of manufactured cars would increase in keeping with the demands of the market, and the idea is that no potential buyer be left without a car," De Fillipis said.
