Humanitarian campaign of MAD in Belgrade Festival and B92 Fund

Volunteers of B92 Fund will be standing on Saturday the 24th and Sunday 25th of May at the festival entrance in front of the Museum of Contmporary Art, and the daily ticket will be given to everyone who brings a pack of diapers from 12 to 6 PM.

Also, all the revenue from the sold tickets for the first day of MAD in Belgrade festival will be donated to help flood victims.

"B92 Fund gladly joined humanitarian action of MAD festival to help flood victims in Serbia. Thousands of pregnant women, babies and children have been evacuated from the flooded areas in Serbia. In this situation, health of the youngest Serbian habitants – babies and small children, is vulnerable the most. Guided by the experience we’ve gained with

Battle for the Babies activities, this obliges us to provide help for the sake of parents’ and children’s wellbeing. During the day, we invite you to bring diapers to B92 Fund’s point at the festival entrance, and in that manner instantly help babies and their parents. Also, you will have the opportunity to donate money for the urgent purchase of the most needed supplies,” said Veran Matic, the president of the Board of Directors of B92 Fund.

Many artists that will perform on the festival are joining the appeal to help flood victims. Pop icon Neneh Cherry has sent us the video message as well as words of support: “My heart goes out to you guys (& all the girls too) fighting back the tears to make something positive after this terrible tragedy that has befallen your fellow country folk & your beautiful country. I am sending you vibes of love & healing & I will try be hardest to get as many people as I can reach out to to help with your fund raising post this disaster. All the love in the World!” – Neneh wrote.

MAD in Belgrade festival will take place on 24th and 25th of May in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art in New Belgrade. During two days of the festival, more than 100 foreign and local artists will perform, followed by spectacular stages, the best World's sound system VERO Funktion-One, labyrinth, giant sculptures, masks, and the most significant electronic music media - Boiler Room.
