Kremlin warns about Washington's "risky" Syria decision

"Such a scenario, if it came to pass, would pose a threat to the Middle East and to Russian forces in Syria," Peskov said, according to Reuters.

Speaking about the U.S.-Russian efforts to reach an agreement that would allow safe passage out of East Aleppo to "Syrian rebels," the spokesman said such a deal "can be reached."

But he pointed out that the talks on this issue are "complex, and keep faltering due to decisions taken by the U.S."
