Komercijalna bank, B92 Fund make another donation

"This is the tenth maternity ward that we have equipped in cooperation with the B92 Fund and the eleventh joint donation. Within two years of the campaign, in addition to material resources, that is, more than 47 million dinars, we collected a lot of positive energy and public support to persist in this campaign. The bank has provided its clients, who are also involved in the campaign, with full transparency of all the details regarding its implementation, as well as regular information about each dinar set aside, by means of a counter available on our website. We wish many more babies to the maternity hospital in Kladovo this year and in the years to come," said Komercijalna Banka's Zajecar branch Director of the Department of Retail Operations Tanja Milijic.

The money for the campaign is set aside during each transaction using Komercijalna cards. Every time a client uses a card to pay any product or service, the bank sets aside from its own funds one dinar to fund the campaign, at no cost to the client. Representative of the B92 Fund Mila Ivanovic said this was a very important day for all the participants in the campaign, because victory was declared at another maternity ward: "This means that the maternity ward in Kladovo is the 26th in Serbia that has been fully equipped and has all the necessary equipment for its work, care for its patients and the newborns. During the campaign the B92 Fund also provided for this maternity ward other medical equipment, and counting today's donation from Komercijalna Banka, the total value of the donated equipment is around EUR 26,000."

In addition to the maternity ward in Kladovo, donations were also made in Sabac, Belgrade, Knjazevac, Pozarevac, Krusevac, Gracanica, Aleksinac, Valjevo, Negotin, and Cacak.

"We are grateful for the big donation within the campaign of Komercijalna Banka and the B92 Fund as the organizer. This donation is an indication that health facilities in the country are not alone and that they can count on the assistance in procuring the equipment, all in favor of improving conditions for the coming to the world of youngest and best loved ones. With this activity you helped us modernize and equip our department of obstetrics and neonatology. Now that we have modern equipment and a small hard-working team, a little more love among young people is needed so we can fill maternity wards," said Assistant Director of the Health Center Kladovo, Prim. Dr. Gavrilo Vasilev, addressing representatives of the bank and of the Fund.

The campaign Together for the Babies began on June 1, 2014. The exact amount of the donated funds can be tracked thanks to a transactions counter on Komercijalna's website.
