Three Albanians have been arrested in the region of the town of Kosovska Mitrovica in northern Kosovo when more than 45 kilograms of cocaine were also seized.

Kosovo police seize 45 kilos of cocaine, arrest 3

The two Albanians and one Kosovo Albanian in custody are suspected of buying, possessing, and selling narcotics, a statement said.

The police found 45.8 kilograms of the drug in the house of one of the suspects, and also confiscated a Golf 5 car and four cell phones.

The suspects will be held in detention for up to 48 hours, on the order of a prosecutor, the statement said.
