Pristina "to boycott" Serbia-Albania gathering

The paper said that the basis of the gathering, that will be attended by Serbian and Albanian prime ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama, stems from a protocol the two governments signed in 2015.

This protocol "includes Kosovo railways and national roads," the daily said, and claimed it has a copy of the document where "article 3.3. speaks about Kosovo railways."

The newspaper further claims that Albania "tried to keep the protocol secret - while the Kosovo side learned about what had been signed too late."

Speaking after his recent meeting in Belgrade with U.S.VP Joseph Biden, Alekdandar Vucic announced he would invite representatives of Pristina to attend the meeting in Nis, southern Serbia. However, officials from Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa's cabinet said they would not attend.
