In front of a crowd of 31,121 at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, Red Star came from behind thanks to goals from Mitchell Donald in the 29th minute and Aleksandar Katai in the 76th minute after Valletta had taken the lead through Jonathan Caruana in the 11th minute.

Having also won the first leg 2-1, Red Star go through to the next round and will face Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets Razgrad next week.
