"We will form government when I am able to form one"

A new Serbian government will be formed "when I have a government," Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday.

"We will form government when I am able to form one"

When asked if this would take place before an August 17 meeting of IMF directors, Vucic replied that "August 17 is a long way away."

Asked what was obstructing the formation of the government, Vucic replied with the question "Do you see what is going on in the world?"

Commenting on the possibility of the Liberal Democratic Party joining the government, Vucic responded:

"I have nothing to tell you about that. When I have a government, you will know."

Vucic said that this meant that the composition of the government would be announced three days before its formation, when he would have to present his proposal in the parliament.
