In modern history, China-Serbia relations have never been at so high level. China has a sincere friend and partner in Serbia, Vucic said, adding:

“Besides the cooperation on infrastructure projects, Chinese investments are very significant for Serbia, with He Steel's arrival in Smederevo being of key importance. We hope for a larger number of Chinese investments and that is why we are discussing the opening of an industrial zone."

2The Chinese president's visit will give an added impetus to strengthening the bilateral cooperation. We are convinced that we will raise the strategic partnership and our relations to an even higher level," the government's press office cited Li as saying.

In his capacity as the president of the DRC, the Chinese government's advisory body, Li invited Vucic to take part in a sustainable development forum, due to be held in Poland in June.
