Opposition parties in Kosovo are "categorically opposed" to the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

Kosovo opposition won't take part in drafting of ZSO statute

Commenting on President Hashim Thaci's statement about a commission that should draft the statute, Frasher Krasniqi from Self-Determination said there was "no need to form any kind of commission" because, according to him, there is no need to form the Community.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative for Kosovo have also said they will not take part "in any process detrimental to the integrity and sovereignty of Kosovo."

The forming of the ZSO is envisaged in the Brussels agreement, reached during EU-sponsored Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

The opposition in Kosovo is against implementing that part of the agreement, and has been disrupting the work of the assembly in Pristina for months.
