During the April demolition, masked attackers tied up Tanskovic and took away his cell phone and personal documents.

According to N1, Tanskovic was admitted to the hospital several days ago"in a pre-infarct condition, but the doctors found he suffered from digestive system problems."

Meanwhile, the masked persons who tore down the buildings in Hecegovacka St. on election night, April 24, remain unknown.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday that authorities are determined to solve the Savamala case, adding that he "thinks there has been progress."

Vucic also said he had not read Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic's report - who determined that the police did not respond to citizens' calls related to the demolitions - but that he "told everyone to act according to Jankovic's instructions."
