Vucic receives U.S. ambassador, and Kerry's congratulations
The prime minister of Serbia's outgoing government, Aleksandar Vucic, on Thursday in Belgrade received U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott.

"I am glad that we will be able to continue to work towards fulfilling the common priorities, including implementation of the process of European integration, encouraging regional reconciliation and the strengthening of our bilateral relations," Kerry's message read, and added:"We look forward to opportunities to support your government's efforts to improve the rule of law, fight against corruption, the development of the economy and the normalization of relations with Kosovo. I would like to commend your personal efforts to improve relations with neighbors. Your leadership will continue to be essential to maintain the focus and momentum to achieve these objectives."
According to the government website, Scott stressed that the voters "showed trust to Prime Minister Vucic."
Vucic "expressed gratitude for the congratulations and underlined that Serbia remains committed to the European path, adding that maintaining stability is essential for the progress of the entire region."
He "stressed that the first flight of Air Serbia to New York in June of this year will be a symbol of progress of relations with the United States."
