The death of yet another jihadist from northern Montenegro has also been confirmed by official sources.

Other "holy warriors" from Montenegro killed in the Middle East while fighting on the side of the Islamic terrorist organization have been mentioned over the weekend, including Mirza Haklaj from Podgorica, Adis Salihovic from Rozaje, and Damir Skalovic from Bar. Eldar Kundakovic from Novi Pazar in Serbia died alongside Salihovic, as they were storming a prison.

A year ago Montenegrin officials said that only six of their citizens had joined Islamic State. Semi-official sources quoted by the daily now mention by name about ten young people who went to fight against "the infidels." They come from Plav, Rozaje, Bar, Niksic, and freely express their pro-jihadi sentiments on Facebook.

As the Huseinovic family continues to accept expressions of condolences over the loss of their son, the locals are counting other Plav residents currently fighting in Syria. According to them, these include the brothers Dzemal and Kenan Canovic, Omar Redzepagic, and Semir Casanagic and his wife Ines Canovic.

The article also mentions Adem Mustafic from Bar, E.K. from Bijelo Polje, and S.F. and A.F. from Rozaje.

Hasib Kastrati from Bar "twice attempted to enter Syria" - and now Montenegrin security services have reportedly lost track of him.
