Three separate police raids in Belgrade have resulted in drug trafficking-related arrests and seizure of "a large quantity of narcotics and weapons."

Police raid 3 locations in Belgrade, seize arms and drugs

All five are suspected of selling drugs and of weapons possession.

The police searched their apartments, houses, and garages and found half a kilogram of heroin, half a kilogram of marijuana, 47 grams of cocaine, 130 grams of amphetamines, 700 grams of a mixture containing paracetamol and caffeine, and five electronic scales that had traces of narcotics.

One semiautomatic pistol with a silencer, five bullets, a hand grenade and "a sum of dinars and euros" have also been found and confiscated.

The MUP put the value of the objects seized at "around RSD 4 million."

The suspects have been taken before a judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade.
