PM: Serbia and RS must behave responsibly toward each other

"While I am prime minister, regardless of who said what, I will never say a single word against anyone in the RS. I think Serbia needs to behave responsibly like that, and I believe that the RS should behave toward Serbia like that," said Vucic.

He made the comments answering a reporter's question about RS leader Milorad Dodik's statement earlier this week, who said Vucic was speaking with the wrong people in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

On Friday, Vucic also spoke about his expectation that the European Union will put pressure on Pristina over its blockade of the the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), adding that "Serbia has fulfilled everything from the Brussels agreement, except some small issues related to implementation of judicial agreements."

He also "stressed that nobody should worry" about the ZSO, which Pristina is responsible for setting up.

Asked whether the visit of EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn to Pristina might help in this regard, Vucic replied:

"Ask Hahn and Pristina. I know only that they (Pristina) have been given the SAA, that they were not asked whether they had fulfill only one condition, and the thing they had as a condition toward Belgrade."

Vucic has also been quoted as saying that "Pristina must pass one decrees, that's five minutes of work, while they cannot solve it for three months."

Speaking on the refugee crisis Vucic said that Serbia is "trying to find a way to accommodate refugees in the coming months" and added this "is and will not be any problem" for the country.

Asked whether Serbia has the necessary capacity when it comes to accommodating refugees, he said this was "being worked on," that there are "several locations planned," and that he would "personally like these capacities to be even higher."

"I do not think it is a difficult job and any kind of problem. It is our duty to help normal and good people, if we can, and if we cannot - it is better to be silent and not show our much worse face," said Vucic.

According to him, in his conversations with EU officials, they often "wonder about how Serbia will solve the refugee problem" - but that "our country has no trouble with that."

"As if they are asking where we will find a billion euros. Their main question is where we will (put) the refugees. We have no problem with them, thank you," Vucic said, according to Tanjug.

Vucic then "added that it was his idea for a number of refugees to be accommodated in Belgrade so that people don't say they are all sent to the hinterland, while the capital is dodging."
