Albanian who flew drone over Partizan stadium arrested

The arrest came ahead of another Euro 2016 quailifier between Albania and Serbia, which is to be played in Elbasan tommorow.

The police also found a second gun and 30 tickets in his car, which are being investigated, according to the French news agency AFP.

Three other people who were in the vehicle with Morina were also arrested, AFP reports, citing the Albanian police.

According to local media reports, Morina said he had kept his weapon for self-defence, feeling threatened after the incident in Belgrade.

Morina claimed responsibility for the drone stunt in October last year, in which a "Greater Albania" flag was flown over Belgrade's Partizan stadium during the Euro 2016 qualifier.

Morina was among those banned from attending tommorow's match, but he nevertheless posted a match ticket to his name on Facebook, which police said had probably been tampered with, according to AFP.
