PM: Common solution needed for migrant problem

The prime minister said that Serbia is the only country in the world which does not blame anyone for the problem of refugees.

Our plan was to have a good approach, show solidarity and tolerance and I think that Serbia set a good example how to act in a humane way towards people who have fled war-torn regions, Vucic said.

He said that the situation with refugees is getting worse, but underlined that Serbia will do all in its power, offer them medical and any other kind of help and organize their reception for a few days s much as they usually stay in Serbia.

Asked how he views the moves made by Hungary, which has among other things announced to send army units to the border with Serbia in order to prevent refugees from entering its territory, Vucic said that Serbia has good relations with this country that it does not want to spoil, but that it cannot say that it is satisfied with these solutions.

He called on all European countries for solidarity, tolerance and humane approach so the migrant problem could be solved together.
