Match-fixing probe to be complete "in several weeks"
Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic says he believes the investigation into alleged football match-fixing will be completed "in several weeks' time."

Asked by reporters how far the investigation had progressed, Stefanovic said the MUP was working on the orders of the Prosecution to gather information, adding that "people" from the Football Association (FSS), the Community of First League Clubs, as well as from some clubs and betting shops have been interviewed."We will continue to talk to everyone the Prosecution thinks we should and we will continue to gather documentation," the minister said and added that he "cannot discuss the details of the investigation" - but expects the case to be finished "during the fall."
"I cannot prejudge the outcome, but the MUP will not be protecting anyone. If there is evidence, we will give it to the Prosecution, if not - I cannot forge it to satisfy someone," Stefanovic concluded.
