IMF: Serbia has made remarkable progress

Special emphasis was placed on stepping up structural reforms with a concrete action plan by the end of 2015 and on issues related to the budget for 2015.

The meeting touched on the most important elements of the current stand-by arrangement the IMF has with Serbia, and the results of the second review will be presented at a press conference tomorrow.

During the meeting, Vucic expressed his gratitude to IMF officials James Rouf and Daehaeng Kim on their exceptional support for Serbia's efforts in implementing the reforms.

An IMF mission arrived in Belgrade on 20 August for a regular review of the precautionary stand-by arrangement with Serbia.
