FM expects EU to "react quickly and support Serbia"

Addressing the media, Dacic qualified as very important the fact that the agreement has been achieved which eliminated the obstacles for the implementation of the Brussels agreement as a document in which the constitution of the community of Serb municipalities represents the most important matter for Serbia.

"I expect the EU to respond quickly and adopt tangible decisions concerning its support to Serbia such as the opening of the first chapters in the accession talks," Dacic said.

He also noted that Serbia has once more confirmed its commitment to peace, dialogue and its European path.

The agreements on the Community of Serb municipalities, energy, telecommunications and the bridge on the Ibar River in Kosovska Mitrovica were signed on Tuesday.
