The Serbian police announced on Tuesday that two persons have been placed under arrest for threatening the prime minister on social networks.

He is suspected of having used social networks to voice threats against Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and certain ministers, while lawyer Dejan Krstic, aged 44, who is suspected of the same criminal act, has been released pending trial.The two suspects were arrested in separate police actions early on Tuesday.
Tanjug said it learned from the Prosecutor's Office that Malenovic has been remanded in detention because of the circumstances that point to a chance of him repeating the crime.
The second suspect was arrested on Tuesday and was brought in for questioning in the Department of Hi-Tech Crime of the Belgrade Higher Prosecutor's Office, which proposed that he be placed in detention, but the judge from the previous proceedings rejected the proposition, Krstic's attorney Dragan Palibrk told Tanjug.
According to an Interior Ministry (MUP) statement issued earlier in the day, the suspects made several "threats against the life" of Aleksandar Vucic, and several members of the Serbian government.
The MUP said that M.M. (born in 1963) and D.K. (born in 1971) have been placed under arrest during two separate raids on suspicion that they committed the criminal act of endangering safety.
The suspects' "computer equipment" has been confiscated, a statement said, adding that criminal charges have been filed against them. The pair have been taken to the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade, the MUP said.
